"Danny Orleans shows, once again, that he understands his audiences and adjusts his material accordingly. While many performers would be eaten alive by this age group, Danny Orleans has them eating out of the palm of his hand!" David Oliver
"I am an unabashed fan of Danny Orleans. To watch a show directed to teenages and see how he kept their attention is a wonderful and valuable lesson. He is truly a general practitioner of magic who knows his business. Keep it coming, Mr. Orleans." Doc Eason
Danny Orleans goes behind enemy lines and comes back with the secret plans: namely, how to use magic to entertain (and even educate) teenagers. You wouldn't catch me in front of these audiences without a Kevlar tuxedo, but in Danny's expert hands, performing for adolescents looks like child's play. Want to learn how to make a living performing for middle-school and high school students? Buy these DVDs for priceless demonstrations, examples, and insightful instruction from a magical communicator, a truly experienced and expert professional. No hype, just the real thing from a real magician. Jamy Ian Swiss

Jamie

As a professional magician, I've always hated performing for teens and pre-teens because they're too old for my kid show, but too young for my corporate show. I didn't know what to do. Until I got these DVD's. Danny explains EXACTLY what works for this age group and WHY, then gives you a complete show that plays like gangbusters for this audience. And even if you don't want to copy another performer's act, the tools he teaches will show you how to present your own material successfully to this age group. This has been invaluable and has opened up entire markets to me. I love this DVD set!

Entertaining teenagers with magic is a very daunting task. They are an age group that think they know it all and have seen it all. To win them over is very challenging and you pretty much have to hit the ground running or you will lose them. Danny Orleans DVD The Art of Presenting Magic to Teenagers removes all those fears. He covers everything from setting up the show, audience management, and how to present and perform the effects for this age group. His interview about this subject is also very informative. As a full time pro, I immediately found things that I will apply when performing for teenagers. Thank you Danny for sharing such valuable information. Kevin Bethea

i guess the nicest thing I can say about this DVD is that it is full of really boring magic performed by a teacher with little sense of humour.

If this is the standard of magic performed to entertain teenagers then the field is wide open for more comedic magicians to take a zanier approach

I bought this product hoping that it would entertain me while teaching me how to entertain teenagers. It was so boring that I only managed to watch the performance,

It's a shame because I would have like to have bought more DVDs from Vanishing Inc, but if they are as boring as this one is I simply won't bother.

AMAZING DVD set! This is the best info on working with teenagers I have seen. I use to cringe at the thought of working with teens. The I know how he did that or the cat calls. Not anymore. This DVD set will teach you how to do it.

I bought this program after I'd purchased Danny Orleans' Presenting to Children DvD and am equally impressed with both. You may all ready be doing some of the effects in this show, but the presentation value of this DvD is still great. Pre-Teen and Teen audiences can be tough as they're too old for a lot of your standard kid's show magic, but not always entertained by adult audience magic - this DvD provides a great set to entertain that target audience.

Bonus on this show is that practically everything performed is "packs small, plays big" and the routines are essentially free as Danny walks you through fabrication of many of the props. Even if you aren't a DIYer, you can purchase everything needed for this entire show on a budget.

Recommended for anyone looking to perform for the teenage audience.
